Existing FLIR cameras give better imagery with the aid of Clari-Fi. How? Standard FLIR cameras throw away critical information when they equalize the histogram - leaving the image with areas of shadow and saturation. The Clari-Fi approach intercepts the critical data before it is disgarded. By accessing the full dynamic range provided by the digital sensor of existing cameras, the Clari-Fi contrast enhancment is able to perform at much higher levels in high contrast situations.

Hardware based = small and powerful = customizable to fit any situation

Clari-Fi is a hardware based digital platform for video enhancment. No software based solution can compare with the real time enhancement provided by Clari-Fi. By programming cutting edge algorithms onto state of the art FPGAs, we are able to run many instructions at once. Software based solutions must run these instructions serially - making them good for image enhancment, but unacceptably slow for real time video enhancement.
