Submit Sample Video
Amitex is happy to accept video samples for "Before and After" testing. Prospective clients are asked to provide "tough case" video samples that illustrate problems they want "fixed". Not all problems can be fixed. However, the Amitex digital enhancement board will create the best possible imagery - within the limits of the camera.

WHAT SORT OF VIDEO TO SEND
Best case
Client provides RAW sensor data - 12 bit or higher. Some cameras provide "digital out" via Camera Link or LVDS. This RAW video should be provided *before* the AGC provided by the camera manufacturer. All camera manufacturer enhancements should be turned off. The data can be provided using the camera manufacturer NUC and BPR. For futher information on RAW video:

If the client is not able to provide RAW video, there is a chance that RAW is available through other means. Amitex may be able to help. If available, please forward the camera spec sheet and manufacturer support information to Amitex. Our engineers will work to find if there is a way to tap into the RAW data.
If RAW is not available
For clients only able to provide 8 bit processed video, the advanced contrast enhancment capability will be significantly reduced. However, most other features can be employed using standard analog video.
